De la Fuente calls Argentina's post-final behaviour 'unacceptable'
Spain coach Luis de la Fuente has condemned what he called "unacceptable" behaviour from parts of the Argentina camp after the World Cup final.
Spain beat Argentina 1-0 after time in New York last Sunday. The match was really intense.. What happened after the final whistle was not good. Some Argentina players and staff got into a fight with Spain players. This was over social media really fast.
Nahuel Molina and Leandro Paredes were some of the Argentina players involved in the fight. De la Fuente said he did not really understand what was going on at first. He was too busy celebrating the win with his team.
He said "I was celebrating with my team-mates hugging them." He did not notice what was happening with the Argentina players.
It is really bad what happened. Players like them should not behave like that. They are players and they should feel bad about what they did. De la Fuente still thinks they are players.
He was happy with how his own players handled the situation. They did not fight back even when the other team was being aggressive. The situation could have been much worse.
A lot of people have seen the video of the fight.. So far no one has been punished. FIFA is looking into it to see if any rules were broken. Spain won the trophy. There is still a lot of talk, about what happened after the game.
