La Liga
La Liga is Spain's top-flight football competition and one of the most closely followed leagues in Europe. Founded in 1929, the competition has been dominated by Real Madrid and Barcelona, with Real Madrid holding the record for the most league titles with 36 championships. Barcelona are the current La Liga champions, after winning the 2025/26 title — their 29th league championship.
