Real Madrid blow Malaga away with 11-minute burst at the Bernabeu
Real Madrid made it 3 wins from 3 in LaLiga with a commanding 4-0 victory over Malaga, continuing their strong start to the season and stretching their league winning run to 6 matches dating back to last term.
For a while, Malaga held their shape. But once Real Madrid found their rhythm, the game got away from the visitors very quickly.
Madrid had already won 9 straight home league games against promoted sides and looked heavy favourites to keep their perfect start going. Malaga began reasonably well enough, but once the pressure started to build, they had no answer.

The damage came in a brutal 11-minute spell. Jude Bellingham broke the deadlock all by himself, reacting quickest to a loose ball, driving into the box, shaping to shoot and then calmly finishing from a tight angle.
He was involved again almost immediately for the 2nd goal, although this time it went down as an own goal. His header was blocked by Carlos Puga but bounced straight back off Alfonso Herrero and into the net, turning Madrid's control into a much more serious lead.
They were then hit again before half-time when Trent Alexander-Arnold fizzed a low ball across the area and Kylian Mbappe met it first time to put the result almost beyond doubt.
Real Madrid were not even at their absolute best after the break, but they still looked capable of scoring whenever they pressed the accelerator. Bellingham hit both the post and the bar, Alexander-Arnold tested Herrero as he hunted his 1st goal for the club, and Mbappe also headed over from close range.
Malaga did at least avoid one more scare when Yan Diomande was cleared by VAR after a handball check following Antonio Rudiger's close-range header from a free-kick.
In stoppage time, substitute Arda Guler added a 4th from close range to put the final layer on another comfortable Madrid night.
The result means Real have now opened a LaLiga campaign with 3 straight wins for the 5th time in 6 seasons, while Malaga remain stuck in a miserable pattern of early-season struggle.
They have now gone 4 straight LaLiga seasons without winning any of their first 3 matches, and their wider away record remains ugly, just 2 points from the last 39 available on the road.
